Well if you're like me, you're always on the quest for the next "it" spots to hang out and de-stress after a long work week....well on Las Olas Boulevard in Downtown Fort Lauderdale there's lot's to do.

If you're in to Jazz music, then Timpano's on Las Olas is a great Friday night spot to take in a soulful songstress or sax player.  8:00 pm to 12:00 am if you can get a seat by the bar near the piano front and center. Or you can enjoy their food....they have a great martini bar and exquisite food.....it's an Italian Chophouse...

And if you don't need to take in dinner and would prefer the bar atmosphere, check out O'Hara's Jazz & Blues Café', they also have various performing bands......Catch them almost any night, but Sunday afternoons are a real treat!

Want a nice dinner, well a few steps down from Timpano's you can find Jackson's Steakhouse.......need I say more? Saturday nights from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am you can usually catch a live jazz performance. And if you get the treat to hear Coco Rouzier....you will follow her from spot to spot! (She's normally at all of the above on various nights.)

Mango's Restaurant & Lounge has more live music, but their's is more eclectic....a little bit of Salsa, a little bit of reggae, a little bit of jazz, blues and soul! Oh yeah! A must do....  Oh, yes they have food also...

Riverfront has too many niceties to mention...you just have to explore that place on your own; Restaurants, too many to mention, and the night life.......if you're into clubbing that end of the strip is for you!

These are just a few of my favorites, there's a whole lot more for you to sample and make your new hang spots when hanging out in Las Olas. 

They're all on the Las Olas strip....just take your pick and........ Enjoy!
