After a long day of shopping in the mall shops which include Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Abercrombie and Coach, kick back and relax in this casually chic spot.

Your taste buds are in for a treat.  With a menu that changes with the season, giving you 4 menus per year, you get exquisitely fresh meals at exceptionally reasonable prices.

Serving healthier meals with each menu item at no more than 475 calories, the savory flavor rivals the most highly seasoned entrees at comparable restaurants. 

For starters, try one of the rustic flatbread appetizers.  They are thin crust oven roasted with cheese, vegetables, and herbs; served with your choice of meat that includes: Steak, Salmon, Shrimp or Chicken.  One of these are an appetizer must.

Menu entrees include:  Grilled Lemongrass Salmon Salad with wasabi dressing, crunchy peas, mango and roasted; Cedar Plank Atlantic Salmon with fresh asparagus, sweet carrots, chive-roasted red bliss potatoes; Rack of Lamb grilled and served with red bliss potatoes, asparagus, onions, and Dijon sauce .... you must go and see what's good for yourself, but don't forget to let me know what you tried, so that I can try it the next time I stop by.

And oh, those delectable deserts that they have dubbed: Mini Indulgences.  Individual servings of your favorite deserts served in shot size glasses.  Key Lime Pie, Red Velvet Cake, Pecan Pie with Vanilla Bean Mousse, and Tiramisu just to name a few.

Wine lovers you are in for a treat!  You can enjoy one of 140 wine choices, with 70 wines choices by the glass, or a cocktail from their wine bar while relaxing to the melodic tunes from the pianist nearby.

Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are taken and may also sit at first open booth in piano bar area.

We are all constantly on the search for great restaurants in our community........well, search no more for great BBQ in Plantation, Florida. Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill is located in The Fountains Plaza on University Drive just south of Broward Blvd and north of I-595.

As you first walk into Smokey Bones Barbeque & Grill, you are greeted not only by the extremely friendly hosts, but by a huge wood burning fireplace directly as you enter.

With your choice of television programs to watch and listen to at your table, you can keep up with the latest sports news on ESPN, local or international news on CNN, or your kids can watch Nickelodeon and get their cartoon fix. 

Now to the menu.....Selection, selection, selection! You can start off with an Old-Fashioned Skillet Cornbread as an appetizer, served in an old style frying pan and with crushed Pecan Butter; or you can enjoy the Spinach and Artichoke dip.....uhm, uhm, good!  And for the health conscious, there's no need for you to stay away. Smokey Bones serves a variety of salads for you to choose from, a newbie to the menu is the Crispy Chicken and Pecan Salad - Try it.

Yeah, I know you're saying, "get to the barbeque already".....ok......Slow Cooked BBQ platters that include: Smoked Beef Brisket, BBQ Chicken Platter, Hand Pulled Pork, Smoked Turkey Breast, and you can create your own platter. Oh yes, the list goes on...........

But don't you leave without desert! Those delicious donuts with the strawberry dipping sauce...Uhm, Uhm, good!  I think that you need to check it out yourself......... Stop by Smokey Bones Restaurant and treat yourself, and while you're at it buy a gift card and treat a friend.
